Geologic Evaluations/Modeling

We develop digital, fully 3-dimensional Geologic Models of Subsurface Hydrologic Flow Systems using various types of information and software, to support development of 3-d conceptual and numerical flow, heat and fate/transport models.

• Lithologic/Stratigraphic logging of boreholes
• Obtain/review geologic borehole data
• Acquistion and digitalization of Surficial Geologic and Geophysical Mapping Data
• Develop borehole/well databases
• GIS mapping of  boreholes/wells
• 3D visualizations of boreholes and interpretations (2d sections, 3d multi-section plots, 3d Block)
• 3D geologic representations, or models of complex systems
• Incorporate faults, dikes, structure and surficial geologic information into 3D geologic models
• Utilize various interpolations schemes/software to develop surfaces, including Kriging.
• Utilize transition probability-based geostatistical methods on borehole data to model spatial variability by 3-D Markov Chains
• Translation of geologic models into 3-dimensional flow models
